GLOSSARY

Two-Hand Control

A two-hand control makes the operator press two separated buttons at the same time to run the machine, keeping both hands away from the dangerous moving parts.

The buttons must be pressed near-simultaneously and released before the cycle can repeat, which defeats the temptation to wedge one down. It protects the operator only, so anyone else near the machine still needs separate safeguarding.
